Front & Rear Adjustable Panhard Rod
with bushes Series 2 on GU Patrol, some Coil Cab Utes.

This listing is for one brand new ADJ Panhard rod suit
Patrol, If you have a GU and unsure if this is right for you, The bushes should
be the same Outer Diameter size, If you have the later model the chassis end
bush will be at least half as big again and it will be a spherical bush, We have
these in our store aswell.
These panhards are supplied with a revised fine pitch
thread, This is better than most other’s on the market, as the fine pitch helps
the nut bind into the thread, and not come undone due to corrugations
ect.
All of our Panhards and control arms come with rubber bushes
to increase longengevity and flexibility of the bush.
ADJ Panhards can be fitted to any vehicle above 2" of
lift, The higher you lift the vehicle the further the body moves of the
centre line to chassis, on a 3" lift it is approx 5-10mm, 4" is approx 15-20mm
off centre. At 4" of lift you will need to fit adjustable Panhards.I personally have a 3" lifted GQ LWB wagon and
have both front and rear ADJ panhards to ensure it is straight as
possible.
They are easy enough to install at home in the driveway,
Firstly remove the original panhard, knowing the measurements given above
you can generally adjust the new arm to be that much longer then the std arm,
then trial fit and you can measure if it is correct.
MEASURMENT In order to ensure you have it as centre as
possible, you can measure between the back of the disc rotor/drum to the chassis
rail, compare this measurement from left to right to get it centered. Or you can
just do it by eye.
When you are happy it is at the correct length, it is
recommended to apply a small amount of loctite to ensure the locking nut stays
secure, the cup washer should be facing outwards, so it mushrooms the bush out,
not captures the bush, have a look at the washer, you will see what I
mean.
That's pretty much it, any questions ask away.
