Ride Rite Air bags to specifically suit your vehicle, they are to suit standard
height spring lift, If applicable we can supply bags to suit 2” lift at the same
price, and these are listed in our shop under Air Bags.
The Firestone Ride Rite kits are rated
to a load of 2.2 tonne over the specified spring rate, So if your vehicle has
standard springs installed, these bags are rated to support up to 2200kg of
weight, Which makes it great for a vehicle that regularly has varying loads, or
the farm truck, slide on camper ect, If you find that during the week you load
your vehicle up with work tools, and it comes in close to the tonne, Aftermarket
leaf springs will not be able to handle the weight safely for a sustained period
of time, and then on the weekend when you take all your tools out, you will find
where your kidneys are pretty quick!
This is the beauty of Ride Rite air
bags, adjustability to suit your load or lack of, put in the comfy aftermarket
springs for when you have a light load and comfort is required, use these
Firestone Ride Rite airbags to work during the week.
Keeping your vehicle level increases
vehicle safety, it will stop the steering from being floaty, caused by the front
wheels not having full contact with the road; this can also cause incorrect
camber causing premature tyre wear. It will also keep your brake bias correct
giving your brakes the correct braking strength front to rear.
Ride Rite airbags are not designed to
give your vehicle a suspension lift, they are there only to support the vehicles
ride height when loaded.

bags inside the cab.
