Braided Extra Long Brake Line 560mm
Suits all Nissan Patrol (excluding ABS – we have these in our store).
Braided brake lines increase the
clamping pressure at the caliper giving you better braking, this happens becasue
normal rubber lines can swell, especially when extended, the more area the more
chance of the rubber building pressure within itself, So if you are looking at
upgrading your brakes at all, give this is a go as well, it will make a
difference.
We do not sell Braided Caliper lines for
the front, Due to the limited length of the line they crack and are deemed
unsafe!
If you have a suspension lift of 3" or more you will find your original brake lines won't reach on full droop. If you have undone the clamp bolts on either the chassis or diff the rigid brake line will fatigue and eventually break. There is only one way to do it right- you need longer lines.
These long lines are built to meet ADR compliance. I run them on my 4wd and have been selling them for years.
The lines listed are ideal for 6" to 7" lifts. At just a 2" to 3" lift you can swap your rear line for the front and get a new line for the rear. (They are interchangeable and the rear is longer than the front in STD configuration) At 4"+ you need 2 x longer lines. These lines are to long for anything below a tall 5" lift (6/7"+ lift)
