The Overdrive kit was designed for the customer that has already done a ring and pinion change but might not be happy with the rpm’s at highway speed. Or for the customer who downsized their tires and is not interested in the expense of changing out their ring and pinions.

By exchanging just the input gear and hi-speed gear this kit will change the high range ratio from a 1.0:1 to a 0.911:1 which effectively turns a 4.11:1 ring and pinion ratio into a 3.74:1 making it a great low cost alternative to re-gearing your differentials.
