Toyota owners looking to run high-quality Aisin hubs on a full-time 4WD vehicle—this kit solves your problem.
This kit suits 105 Series live axle Land Cruisers with HF2A full-time 4WD transfer case manufactured from 01/1998.

All 105 Series Land Cruisers with full-time 4WD have a drive hub to CV spline that does not allow genuine Aisin hubs to be fitted.
This kit includes quality Japanese replacement CV joints, which are a direct fit to genuine Aisin free-wheeling hubs.

This combination provides higher-strength free-wheeling hubs, waterproofing in the hub selector ring, and overall superior quality compared to other brands.

ABS LIVE AXLE MODELS
ABS-equipped live axle vehicles will display an ABS warning light after this conversion, as the sensor reads from the CV joints which are no longer in motion. An ABS relocation kit moves the sensor to the wheel hub and restores factory operation.

VISCOUS CENTRE DIFFS
Vehicles with viscous-coupled centre diffs can still use this kit. You will need to purchase and fit a Centre Diff Lock button (as used on GXL models). This is a plug-and-play installation using the existing Toyota wiring loom.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The spider gears and rear side gear are removed from the centre diff, making it completely inoperative. A heat-treated gear steel spool is installed, providing permanent rear-wheel drive. The front side gear remains to support the front output shaft.

Freewheeling hubs are installed to prevent the front diff, axles, and driveshaft from turning when the vehicle is in motion.

CAN I FIT IT MYSELF?
Yes, the kit includes detailed step-by-step instructions. If you're mechanically minded, you can fit it yourself without removing the transfer case—just remove the rear cover. HOW DO I ENGAGE 4WD ONCE FITTED?
Simply press the centre diff lock button on the dash, engage the hubs, and select low range.
If your vehicle has a viscous-coupled diff and no centre diff lock button, you’ll need to install one. The fitting instructions include a photo and the Toyota part number needed.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I HAVE A VISCOUS COUPLING?
If your vehicle does not have a centre diff lock button on the dash, it has a viscous-coupled diff.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE VISCOUS COUPLING IN THE TRANSFER CASE?
It is no longer needed and is removed during the installation.

HOW DOES THIS AFFECT ABS?
IFS 100 Series models are unaffected, as their ABS sensors are on the wheel hub.
Live axle models have ABS sensors on the CV joints. Fitting freewheeling hubs prevents the CVs from turning, causing an ABS malfunction light. To avoid this, you can leave the hubs engaged when ABS is required.
