Penblue Adblue® is a fully licensed and registered AdBlue® Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) manufactured to AUS 32, containing 32.5% high-purity urea in demineralised water. This clear, ready to use solution is non-toxic, safe to handle and designed for diesel vehicles equipped with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems.

Penblue Adblue® helps SCR systems reduce harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions by supplying the precise 32.5% urea concentration required for correct operation. It is suitable for diesel vehicles fitted with SCR technology designed to meet Euro 4 and later emissions standards.

Background
Modern diesel vehicles use Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology to significantly reduce harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions. Penblue AdBlue® is used in vehicles fitted with SCR systems, where it is automatically injected into the exhaust stream from a dedicated AdBlue® tank.

As the exhaust gases heat the AdBlue®, it releases ammonia, which reacts with the SCR catalyst to convert harmful NOx emissions into harmless nitrogen and water vapour. This process helps diesel vehicles meet stringent emissions standards while maintaining efficient engine performance.

Application
Penblue Adblue® is added to the dedicated AdBlue® tank on SCR-equipped diesel vehicles and is typically consumed at a rate of approximately 3–5% of diesel fuel consumption.

Because SCR systems are highly sensitive to contaminants, maintaining AdBlue® quality is essential. Penblue AdBlue® is manufactured to ISO 22241, the internationally recognised standard covering product quality, testing, handling, storage and refilling requirements.

Store Penblue AdBlue® in its original sealed container at temperatures below 30°C. When stored correctly, the product has a shelf life of up to 18 months from the date of manufacture.
AdBlue® can be corrosive to certain metals, so it should be stored and transported only in suitable containers and equipment designed for DEF.

PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT add to fuel or fuel tank. Pour into the Diesel Exhaust Fluid Reservoir only.
