A true Drum disconnect Air Freespool system
 

Engineered to suit WARN mid-frame low mount winches.

Unlike clutch style air freespool systems that simply assist the factory lever, this system physically disconnects the winch drum from the gearbox. The result is a low drag freespool, faster rope deployment, and consistent performance.
Designed for serious off roaders and competition vehicles, the WinchGear Air Freespool allows freespool engagement from inside the vehicle or via external air control keeping you out of the bull bar and in control during recoveries.

Fitment & Installation Notes

Suits WARN mid-frame low mount winches:
M8000 XD9000 XP9500

Some modification is required for installation

Adds approximately 50 mm to the gearbox end of the winch

Clearance must be checked, particularly in tight bull bar or winch cradle setups
